Hey Gamers-
Hoping you all can help me out with a few questions :
I'm a huge fan of collegiate basketball, in particular the ACC, and my alma mater of UNC-CH...( GO TARHEELS !!)
:)
I'm new to the Xbox 360 experience and obviously CAG, but I would love to know opinions, feedback, etc on the pros and cons of both NCAA Basketball 09 March Madness Edition (which is only available for download for 1200MSP), and NCAA Basketball 2010.

As far as the 09 March Madness Edition is concerned, I'm not really feeling the 1200MSP cost, and was wondering if this game has ever been on sale before. Especially since it's over 3yrs old. (Maybe a reduction in points for the upcoming holiday ??)

Should I get both if I can snag a good deal, or should I only get one ? Thanks for your opinions and help !!

Carolina Blue baby !!!!

Honestly, as a Carolina fan, you're probably best off going with 10, because that's the year with Lawson/Hansbrough et al. in the baby blue, and it's gonna be more fun for you in general.

09 and 10 are both not exactly great basketball games (everything 2K has put out had been better for years at that point, but 2K's college hoops series bit the dust before NCAA Basketball did), but you have no other choices, really, and it's sort of unlikely there will ever be sales on years-old games. What I loved about 10 that hasn't translated to any other sports game like I would like it to is that there are CBS/ESPN graphics packages for the games, with the score bugs and wipes that got used on real broadcasts. It made things feel more real, at least for me, and it was something that sticks with me as impressive three years later.

The Tournament of Legends included in 09 may be something that strikes your fancy, though.

I found 09 for $7.36 at Amazon as a Warehouse Deal, and there are a few cheaper 10s in the used section at Amazon, too. If you had to pick one, I would go with 10, but if you are willing to spend $35 on two years-old college hoops games, I say go with both.
