UPDATE BELOW

I'm looking for a good but inexpensive wireless router. Will have two PC's plus my xbox on it. I'd prefer a hardware firewall, bridging capability, and it needs to have good security since I'm in an apt complex.

There are so many routers out there it's hard to figure out which are the best. I'd consider maybe one of those nearly FAR ones during staples sales but I don't know how reliable they are.

This isn't a rush so I'm willing to wait for a sale if you guys picked one up on previous sales.

Thanks!

UPDATE

I spent the past day or two researching this router on Heyricochet advice. Well, this afternoon tesla85 at Fatwallet pointed out that you can PM the roiuter at CC or OD or CUSA to Radio Shack and get it for $18AR! I gave it a try after work. I ordered it online and then picked it up at Circuit City with the radio shack flyer in hand. PM with no questions asked. Out of wallet cost was $48 and there's $30 in rebates.

Circuit City Link to Router for $70 with two rebates totaling $30

Radio Shack Link to Router for $50 with $10 rebate.

Its pretty much a consensis that linksys is the best router out there, and the WRT54G is 40 bucks after rebates at CC and BB this week.

Netgear seems pretty good. Our house had it since September and it only failed to work once (compared to the Belkin I used awhile ago, this is really good). You might want to look at the Sunday ads for MIR routers.

Thanks Heyricochet , I took your advice. I did some researchg and it gets pretty good reviews. Also, this is a router so liked that it has its own fan site! You know it's gotta be good then. Also it's likely I'll be able to get community support at least.

The best part is I got it for $18 AR from CC!

Thanks!

Hey, I own that "fan site". :) Anyway, yeah it's a great router. With firmware upgrades, can get up to the $250+ router point. The WRT54G is probably the most popular router. All and all, a great router. For sure a great buy.
