Need a good pair of headphones
...with the possible exception of my Dr. Dre Beats Tour earbuds.
I got the Tours for my bday and am impressed but at the same time a tad annoyed with them. I admit that I expected them to be solely rich in bass; but am glad to report that they do deliver rich sound all around. I have a pair of Shure e4cs and have stopped using them because they lack the bass the tours produce. My gripe with the tours is that none of their tips don't seem to fit my ears at all. They move around a lot and it causes the sound to sound terrible mid-song; I have to regularly adjust the buds so the sound doesn't sound like crap.

When they manage to stay put the sound is VERY impressive and I enjoy them. Just my $.02.

Have you tried the cone-shaped tips that come with them? I had the same issue as you with the standard "bud" tips but the cone-shaped ones stay in place the best in my ears. They felt a little odd the first time I tried them (you really have to push them WAY into your ear canals) but the fit is perfect and the sound is intense.

Panasonic RP-HT227

the cord is ridiculously long and the noise cancellation is really good...mind you I only really use them with my laptop when it's late and I'm on hulu/gametrailers, etc...as I don't walk around listening to music and have surround sound for gaming...but for what I need they work perfectly well...but as an average person, my ears aren't attuned to the subtle nuances that audiophiles might look for in a pair of headphones...

I'd post a link or pic but apparently I'm not allowed to lol
I use Sony MDR7506 Professional and like them.

The internet has several arguments on the comparison case between the MDR7506 vs the V6.

Some say that they offer the same specs and the same quality and that the only difference is the color, the plug and its comfort (?).

I decided to grab the v6 since it was cheaper but i like blue.
