Hi guys we've recently picked up the Wii but we don't know what game we should get next. My wife and I don't play by ourselves, we always compete against one another or against other friends. So basically we are looking for a good multiplayer game 2+. Can you guys please offer opinions?

How's Wario ware: Smooth Moves, Big Brain Academy, Super Monkey Ball, etc..? (We've already got Wii Play)

And we just want to get one more game for now, so it has to be a good game. Thank you all for your time.

I just got Wario Ware about a week ago. Though I haven't seen the option to actually compete at the same time in multi, it's a hell of a lot of fun doing the mini-games as is watching someone do them. As long as the people you're playing with don't mind looking silly, it's a blast. A really great way to test out the capabilities of the Wiimote, but still keep the gameplay simple and quick for beginners.

1. Rayman Raving Rabbids - Not every game is simultaneous play, but neither is Wario Ware. My friends and I had more fun with this game than any other.

2. Mario Party 8 - Fun but formulaic. If you've played one you've played them all.

3. Excite Truck - this game is severely underrated, it is a blast to play(I like this game above all these on the list, but put it third because you specifically asked about multiplayer. If you want a fun single player game as well, then this would by my #1 pick)

4. Wario Ware - fun but wears thin within a couple hours.

5. Super Monkey Ball - some of the minigames are fun, but 75% are crap and wading through the crap to find the decent ones is tedious.

My wife and I love both Excite Truck and Mario Party. If I had to go with either, and could ONLY play multiplayer, it would be MP8. If you like arcade racing games, though, Excite Truck is the best one I've played since Hydro Thunder...

Excite truck does two players at once, and is a blast to watch while you wait for your turn. You can easily play 4 players by trading off - but ultimately, since you want real multiplayer, I'd say Mario Party.

Rayman is fun, but I wanted something I could use multiplayer right away, with Rayman you have to beat the single player levels, before you get to unlock the multiplayer levels, I got tired of this one single player mini-game, and traded it in. Mario party 8 isn't that good in my opinion, if you dont mind doing the single players first Rayman would be good. I rented Excite truck, and it was fun.
