Hello,
I found a copy of Space Channel 5 Special Edition for the PS2 for $12. Is this a good deal for this game? I'm not familiar with Space Channel 5, is it worth $12?

It's pretty fun from whatI've played on the dreamcast version, reminds me of cross between Bust a Groove and Rez. I dont know what they added to the special edition tho.

As far as I know there isn't anything special about it other than it includes the original dreamcast version along with the second Space Channel 5 which was never released over here. If you liked the Dreamcast version definetly get this (~$10-20 new) but this type of game isn't for every fan of rhythym games

It's fun for about an hour, but it gets old quick. Part 2 looks a little different but plays the exact same. If you manage to suffer your way to the end, there's not really any replay value, so you won't get much more than five hours or so of entertainment in total. I guess if you're really into rhythm games and never had a Dreamcast, you might consider this, but otherwise, there are much better ways to spend your money.
You can buy it for $9.99 at Target.
Really? I've never seen this one at my local Target. Are you saying that it's on clearance somewhere for that price, or what?

I picked this up over the weekend for $10 at Sam Goody. I agree with the previous posters comments on its quality.

One of my favorite games of all time.

Part 1 is good, but not great. The dreamcast version of Part 2 was only released in japan, but it is really really good.

You should definately pick it up for $12. I have the japanese dreamcast version and if I had a PS2 then I would definately pick it up for $12 just to play it in english.

Great game.

I can't believe that some people don't like it. No wonder the game industry is going down the tubes.
