If people haven't heard about this by now, Canada is getting a bundle that includes an Elite console with Halo 3 and Wireless Adapter for MSRP CDN $349.99. Now, as an American, I can only hope for this bundle to come to the states. Just for reference $1 US is worth slightly more than $1 CDN.

In addition to this, Target is rumored to be dropping Pro models to $249.99 and Elite models to $299.99 and also throwing in a free controller with the purchase of either system.

The Canadian Bundle is definitely a better value, but do you think I should just go ahead and jump on an Elite at Target once the drop is official, or should I wait and see if the Halo 3/Wireless bundle is released in the US?

If you are able, why not just go to Monoprice and grab a long ethernet cable, plug this into a router, and save yourself the trouble of worrying about the lousy wireless adapter? Wired connections are much better, and the two friends I know with the wireless adapters have issues with theirs.

If you really want Halo 3, check FYE - they've had rebates for it on and off all summer. I got mine for $5 a few months ago, and I know it was part of their last sale two or three weeks back too.

I vote for this. I have a wired connection because I don't want to spend $100 on the fucking wireless adapter (I know I could get it for less than that, but it's still way overpriced), and it works just fine. The cable's a bit of a pain in the ass, but it works better and it was a lot cheaper.

Dude, you sure theirs a Halo promo?
I haven't seen any here in Canada.
I've only seen the RE5 and GTA4 elite bundles for $350/each.

Not saying I might not be wrong though.

That is an awesome bundle, but you're much better off just getting the Elite from target and Halo 3 cheap, then the wireless router. If you can hold off a few more months, there will probably be some killer deals on the 360 this fall.

Naw, I would not buy the wireless adapter if it didn't come at a good value...but the Canadian bundle offers precisely that.

the canadian bundle might or might not get a US release. We never got the canadian bundle for the original xbox
