Need help doing a clean windows 7 install after mobo switch

Hi cag,

I have all my new components installed and I need help getting the computer to boot to the DVD drive instead of hdd. I have an asrock mobo p67 extreme gen3. This is my first time doing this so I would really appreciate some help thanks!
 
You need to go into the BIOS and change the primary boot device from the hard drive to the CD drive. It should say in the manual what key you have to enter to hit the BIOS screen if you don't head there directly (its usually a function key, the space bar, or delete).
 
yeah if you can't figure it out, or it doesn't say, just start hitting all the keys really quickly during the BIOS splash screen. You will inadvertantly either get the boot selection menu (which works, chose CD/DVD) or BIOS (where you can change the boot order)

if it gets to the "Windows" normal load screen you missed it, restart PC, try again
