Wondering if theirs any good multiplayer hack n slash or RPG ish games. I don't want a subscription fee for an MMO but I want a nice active RPG mutliplayer game. I'm kinda tired of playing shooters with people would like a chance to level up with a sword lol. I'm all diablo2ed out so not that. Anything of recent?
 
Torchlight is great, but its very similar to Diablo 2, however, its only $20 and totally worth it.
Dragon Age: Origins is a lot of fun especially if you like the old Baldur's Gate style games.

If you have a PS3, Demon's Souls is really good.
 
I'm playing a lot of DA right now, but I'd love if it was multiplayer. I thought about torchlight. Does it have lotta replay value? How long is it?
 
I would recommend titan's quest, it a rip off of diablo 2 but with many improvements(infinite free town portals,the ability to buy back skill points if you choose a crappy skill, a chest to transfer items between charecters, 3d graphics, no need to identify every fucking item, ect...)
It's cheap and it's multiplayer.
The cons are its best played on a lan and the first act is kind of slow.
 
I agree with Titan Quest. Next to the Diablo series it's the best in my opinion and the ton of class combinations provides for a lot of replayability.

I am still playing a free MMORPG called Requiem which it basically a hack and slash and I enjoy it quite a bit but can get a bit grind heavy in the upper levels which is when I go try out another class to mix it up a bit and keep it fresh. I would recommend looking over the Race/Class subforums to get an idea of good builds since I'm not sure how forgiving the game is of a bad build and you may find yourself wanting a reset from the cash shop.
