Need help starting IQ Mania.

When I boot it up a menu a prompt appears in japanese and I'm given two choices, no matter wht I chose the screen just keeps poping up and there's no way for me to strat the damn game.

EDIT: Never mind, Ransom hit the nail on the head. In Japan O is usually confirm, while X is cancel. At that screen, whcih is probably just a "No save detected, start game anyway?" type of screen, I had to select the left option with the O button.

Remember, Japanese games use circle button to advance and X button to go back.
