Need help with Speech class 'Video Games'

CAGiversary!
Hi, I'm giving a speech next week and I needed to write up an outline by this weekend for a speech class. My topic would be something along the lines of "Which console is right for you". This is basically an informative speech and will not take a stance in any sense. I was wonering if fellow CAGS can help me in terms of some websites that can give me info on such things as NPD numbers, detailed info on the systems, etc. I'm aiming to be as unbiased as possible when I go over the advantages and disadvantages so any help would be much appreciated guys!! Thanks again!

I just didi an informative speech in my speech class this last wednesday, I talked about the effectives and faults/flaws of the ESRB. it went quite well. for yours, I'd say just google what you're looking for.

Here's a thought: pick a topic that won't make you look like a complete dork. My roommate actually did his persuasive speech on why Mother 2 and 3 should be translated and brought to the US.....it's no wonder everyone refuses to drive him to and from school anymore.

I don't think you should google this one. Something tells me you'll run into waaay too many fanboy arguments, if anything maybe EGM issues are only thing I can think of that may help your cause since they have things like the PS3 vs. Wii debate. Though, I'm with VanillaGorilla, pick something I guess less nerdy...

I'm not concerned with the nerdiness of the topic. I feel it's less boring than going on and on about something typical such as abortion rights and affirmitive action. With a topic like this, at least I'll have more confidence talking about something I'm comfortable with and have some personal knowledge of. I just needed some places to visit for reference purposes.

Try finding issue 211 of EGM the January 2007 issue if you can, that one has the PS3 and Wii debate in there if youre interested.
