CAGiversary!
I cant seem to get online. Every time I try an error called 80410D07 comes up. I have D-link wireless g router. I also dont have the cd containing the manual and stuff to change your ssid. Is the g router the problem?

It's a glitch with the reciever, you have to be running in a circle counter-clockwise to pick up the signal.

In other words, I have no clue.

Did you try going to "network settings" and configure the connection?

I tried that but the same error came up. Does everything have to be filled out likeDNS settings and ip or can they all be on automatic? I got my IP but not that DNS thing.

were you able to play any online games like twisted metal or what not?

basically I'm wondering if this is the first time you're trying to go online with the psp (assuming that you downloaded the 2.0 update with the computer and installed it via usb cable).

I have a dlink g router and I couldn't get online in the beginning as well. I think I had to update the router firmware. I haven't downloaded the 2.0 and I don't intend to so I can't speak from experience.

Automatic didnt work either. This is my first time getting online I have coded arms and thats local only. Are you using xp? My downstairs cumputer has ME but my upstairs one has xp. Sould I try connecting the internet to upstairs cumputer? Im thinking I should config everything on xp and match it on my psp. Oh yeah what update did you get?

Are you connecting you PC direct to the internet or using a router? If you have DSL or cable service the use of a router extremely recommended for a number of reasons including simplifying this situation. If you're on dial-up then ICS is probably your only option. I'm assuming one or both of your PCs has wireless. Make sure ICS is working between the PCs first.

I got cable internet. My upstairs would have to have a like 100 foot cable to reach it and it does not have a wireless network card. A freind gave me the router so I did not choose that was wireless.

But you have a wireless network card in the other PC or a wireless access point connected to the router? You've got to have some WiFi happening somewhere in there if you're trying to use the PSP with it. In either case, probably the best bet for a diagnostic is to get a friend with a wireless capable laptop to come over to see if it can connect to your network. This will make it a lot easier to identify any configuration issues than the PSP alone.

My router has WI-FI and the psp can pick it up when I scan. I dont have wireless cards in any of my pcs for certain reasons. The laptop idea is a good one. Ill do it once I get a friend over.
