Need recommendations on a steering wheel for the Gamecube.
I'm not sure if this would work, but you could try the GT4 wheel plus a playstation controller to gamecube adaptor, like the Cube Joybox or this adaptor. I've heard people say good things about it (IGN gave it a 9.2), but I wouldn't want to pay $150 for it.
That wouldn't work since it connects via USB and doesnt even have a PS2 controller plug.

Actually, if you can find it, BestBuy was selling the Logitech SpeedForce force feedback wheel for Gamecube for $15 or $20. It only comes with the wheel; the lap adapter and pedals come in a seperate "accessory" pack you'll need to buy (maybe check eBay for a decent price on that).

Really, though, if you haven't tried wheels on consoles, I'd recommend against it. They usually make arcade-y, fast-moving games much harder than just using a gamepad, but a good wheel can sometimes enhance slower sim games. Personally, I have the GCN SpeedForce and would have returned it if it weren't so cheap, since it isn't very fun not being able to drive precisely. I bought the $150 GT4 wheel to experiment, but since it didn't change my feelings about the GT series, I returned it. (Did manage to make the horrible PS2 port of the Initial D arcade game actually feel fun, though.) I also have the MadCatz universal wheel which has reprogrammable buttons and has probably the best pedals of the home wheels. And I really wonder where the hell the Xbox force feedback wheels have been... I mean, how hard is it to "port" one of the many PC wheels?!
