Need some help pricing my PS3?

CAGiversary!
Need some help in pricing my PS3 Slim 120GB, but not sure of a good fair price. Tried pricing it per eBay, but prices are kind of all over the place. Just trying to avoid pricing it too low or too high.

It's like new, has box and manuals, and typical box setup content.

Also comes with a retail store warranty, transferable and good for another 2 yrs.

No games, but I'm including an Eagle Eye converter.

Thanks in advance for the help.

You guy's are crazy, I'd start at somewhere between $200-250 depending on if you take pictures of it and how fast you want it sold. Also, everyone on Craigslist wants a deal so prepare for the lowballers and last minute people who want a deal cheaper than your asking price.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice guys. Guess I'll just start off at $250 and see what lowball offers look worth entertaining.

But, to let it go at $120, I'd probably keep it for a Blu Ray/Netflix player.

Um, but do the one's at BestBuy come w/ a 2 year warranty? Further, the lower he prices it the more lowball offers he'll get; not sure if you do much selling on CL, donut.

I agree with donut. Most I'd pay is $150~$165 for a used PS3. Even if it is "Like New" They usually come up on Amazon Warehouse for like $180, and those are just banged up boxes. For $200, I'd just wait for Christmas deals or invest the extra $50 to get a new one from the store.

Why sell it unless you really need the money? Or do you have a ps3 already? Lot of games worth playing on it. Also if you ask anywhere near retail you won't sell it. Finally if selling on craigslist meet somewhere public like a bar. I don't like strangers coming to my house

Good valid points on this, but again, if I have to sell it at or below $150, I might as well keep it. I'm not that hard up for $150/120. I just thought it would be nice to sell it for around $200 since I rarely use it (have a Xbox). Like I said, it's a great device for Blu Rays, Netflix, Hulu, etc... worth the $120 for me to keep. :)

As for selling it at $250.... I honestly don't think I can make $250 on it. But as SEEN was pointing out, on CL you have to expect to be lowballed. I'd figure, why not troll and see who makes a lowball offer. Wheel and deal from there...

Again, thanks everyone. I really appreciate all the feedback.

You shoulda sold it a couple months ago, the price from now on is going to be much cheaper thanks to the holiday bundle. I can't see people paying more than $150 for a used one now, regardless of condition.

After all, once I take into consideration the sale of the games that came with the holiday bundle, I'll have gotten my new one for $150ish.

That reminds me I gotta check my CL responses regarding the 60gb I put up on there for $120 or so about 2 weeks ago. I think I scared off a few buyers by being honest and mentioning that the top part of the console slides off cuz whatever fuckwad cleaned the lens before I bought it didn't put the damned screw back in to hold the top portion on.
