Need to ship Warriors of rock super bundle.

CAGiversary!
Not sure if this should technically be in this forum....but it is related to my auction.

I was wondering what was the best way to ship out Guitar hero: warriors of rock super bundle. I had sold one on auction and was planning on sending one to my brother stationed in korea. I planned on shipping it fedex for the auction, but I can't find a box big enough to ship this thing. Would it be fine just to slap a label on it and ship it as is? I would wrap it in kraft paper, but the people at my fed ex rip it off and refuse to have it because they say it causes problems with the conveyors at their facilitys (probably true). Any idea's?

You "can" ship it by just putting a label on it.
Also, if by "Fed Ex" you mean a Fed Ex store, they may complain about that.

I've tried mailing something wrapped in shipping paper before and my local UPS store said "no, we can't do that because of conveyors" (if the seams aren't taped well it could rip the paper off, but if they're all taped down I doubt it could happen) but I gave it to a UPS driver and he didn't care and it got there just fine.
I figured they just wanted to charge me for packing it up.

Moral of the story.
You could try using kraft paper and scheduling a home pickup so you don't go through a Fed Ex store.
You should be able to ship with just a label on the box but a Fed Ex Store might complain since they like to charge people for packaging stuff.

Yep they complained about me slapping a label on the box too.....its a "stock box" not a shipping box.....can't win with them lol. Boxing it with their boxes costs $20..... just as much as shipping the damn thing.

I just got rolled by fedex for that 20 when sending my ps3 to gophermods to get it fixed... 37 to ship it and package it. Very sad

my only suggestion is to construct your own box from boxes and tape it all together with packaging tape.
