So, the holy grail of NES collecting, and perhaps of video game collecting as a whole, Stadium Events, randomly turned up on eBay last week, and sold for a whopping 13k. The cartridge itself is worth around $2,000 because of it's rarity, but what made this unique was that it came with it's original box and manual, making it one of only 10 other complete copies known to exist amongst collectors. Collectors have valued the box alone at being worth aproximately $9000. I suppose if you really are that crazy obsessed with owning the complete NES library, then you're going to have to bite on this eventually, but for the rest of us this is just absolute insanity.
