Not a deal, but its still hard to get, especially around the holidays.

I received an email saying the NES Classic Edition will be available today via Woot.com's mobile app. Most of their app exclusive daily releases are at 3PM PST. If you enable push notifications, it should notify when its live. Good luck!

At $49.99, I can't help but wonder if these are chinese knockoffs or at the very least refurbished units. Why wouldn't they be the full $59.99 MSRP?

Woot doesn't sell stuff for MSRP. They just ran this as a "promo" to get people to download their app and give it a shot...

I have a feeling it backfired from all of the people - the vast majority - who got burned by this "deal."

I’m still sitting on 2 of them from a random Meijer. Never had an item that people get so mad to pay for lol. Hence me still sitting on the two. Plus I don’t do eBay so what ya gonna do
 
Got one [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]and stopped by gamestop which thad 4 snes on hand and was able to buy two as gifts.

I have worked in a new building for...3 months now? The third day in, they installed some really fast and nice Wifi hotspots. Of course it blocks gaming sites, but reddit and all apps work really well. This is awesome because I get ZERO bars in this ancient building. I think it was built in the 20s. There is one spot maybe 5x5 in the entire building that gets 2/5 4G bars, otherwise I don't even have 3G. The internet has worked flawlessly for me every day since.

Wouldn't you know, tonight I get to work...and "Connected, but no Internet". :lol: Just my luck. 

 
Figured it would be a cluster fuck  and I wasn't disappointed.

But they did get me to download the app and update cc info.  Hadn't bothered with Woot in over 5 years (per my purchase history) :lol:
