NES Color Output is wrong. Help!

This is my first post.

I have an Nes I got at a garage sale that didn't work. I got a new 72 pin connector off of ebay and installed it.

The system turns on but the color output of every game is wrong. Like blacks are now red and so on. I even bought another 72 pin connector and installed and it is still doing the same thing.

I used the white eraser on the contracts where the 72 pin connects to the motherboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what to say except check your av/rf connection to your tv. Maybe you should try the nes on another tv with different av wires since it could be the av wires themselves or the tv itself. Hope that helps give you some options.

I tried it on another tv and same result.

I also tried the rf connector and it ouputs the same way as the av cables.

I need help or to just give up.

Have you tried cleaning the connectors on the game cartridges? Also have you tried googling it.

You could do one of two things. One, clean your games with a Q-tip dipped in some Brasso. In case you didn't know, the connectors of the games are made of BRASS. All of your games should work perfectly now. Dust rarely ever gets inside the cartridge case itself where the motherboard is.

Two, give your NES a rundown with compressed air. Then, if you haven't thrown it away, get your very first 72 connector and get a very small screwdriver, FLATHEAD ONLY, that you use to repair watches and such. It's hard to explain the next step, so go to AOL Search or Google, and search for Repairing the NES 72 connector. go to a guide and scroll down until you see something like this:

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Follow that guide. Try both of these things. You can get Brasso at your nearest hardware store, preferrably True Value

Having the same problem guys. I'd be curious to know if Brassomaster's solution worked or not before I go replacing the 72-pin.
