NES Metroid Question

Ebraum

CAGiversary!
While browsing at a local EB I saw two different Metroid carts. One with a grey label, and one with a yellow label. Is one worth more than the other for collectors. Both were the same price, I've just never seen the yellow labeled game before.

The grey cart would be the original one, the yellow cart is the "classic series" one. Which is worth more? Dunno. I'd probably guess the classic series had a shorter run.

I just picked the yellow label one up at a peddlers mall for $3 yesterday, along with castlevania and adventures of link... 3 $'s each.

I've got a bad habit of spending 3-5 dollars if I'm out and see a game in real nice condition. On ebay I have the good habit of not buying the lot unless I get each game for under 2 including shipping.

The yellow label one is rare as hell. From what i hear it is sommewear around the 40 dollar range. The reason for the change is somehow someonewas offended by the picture on the yellow copy so nintendo changed it.

Where have you seen it sell for 40? I've never seen it sell that high. And the yellow label came second so your second statement is false.

twenty dollars is way too much for metroid nes. in fact you get the original metroid game FREE when you get the metroid prime 2 demo disc. yeah thats right, FREE

What in the hell?! Where do they come up with this?

Where can I get that demo disc?

Where did you hear this?

I wasn't gonna buy it for $20.00 unles one version was HTF. I'll just play the original after I beat Zero Mission.

:(
the full version of Metroid is only available on the demo disc if you linkup Metroid Fusion to Prime with your gameboy

Dude the yello one is the second incarnation of the game. So if soneone was offended by the pervious cover it would be the pixily silver one with Samus shooting one of those spikey things. Either one is worth the same unless you can find the original version complete. I got my hands on a complete Players Choice version and I sold it one eBay for like $12.00, and that's for a complete one. Regardless $20.00 is way too much for that game or any loose NES game. Go back to that store and tell them to shove that game up their ass cracks.
