I really don't know where to put this thread but it can go into a number of forums but I think it fits this forum and will get the most viewing.

I don't know who this seller is but I guess they have a quite a few of prototypes, I wonder where they got them from.

NES World Championship

A lot of you may not remember this or have been around when it came out, I remember wanting to in the competition when I was a kid, they even had a movie tie in called The Wizard. I guess here it is in all it's awe and glory for those interested in seeing what it ends at tomorrow.

A lot to pay (duh), especially considering the condition. Rather just watch the AVGN/Pat the NES Punk video and call it a day...

It's up to $61,520 with the top bidder having 8 feedback. A guy who bid over $60,000 has over 1000 feedback. These bids are real.

HAS to be bogus. Don't care about any of the particulars. Anyone who has the money to burn would have done their homework going in (if they weren't already knowledgeable on the subject) and known that this thing is not even worth $10,000+, let alone $100,000.

I find it hard to see a guy with 775 sales trolling this guy

Step 1. Buy as many NES World Championship carts as possible for as cheap as possible.

Step 2. Sell the shittiest cart you have on ebay to a friend for absurd amount, setting the market for people who think games are a good investment.

Step 3. Profit.

Somebody did that with Clayfighter Sculptor's Cut not too long ago.

That has to be fake bidders.

This one just ended. 17K for a one that is way much better condition.

That falls inline with the usual going rate for the NWC. No Nintendo game is worth 100K. Stadium Events was mint in box and sealed I think. Thats why that was so high. But for a Cart with no label and crap condition to out price a Mint in box Super super rare game is just crazy.
