Netgear Powerline Network Adapter - Any Thoughts?

I use Linksys PLK300's to bridge my 360, PS3 and a number of other components to my router upstairs in my house. Works well since I installed them a number of months ago.

Powerline adapters are pretty easy to use, though you just need to make sure they're plugged directly into a AC wall jack and not into a surge strip.

The manual for my PL adapters stated that as the first thing you needed to do.
