Obviously there's going to be a price drop on Elites very soon. There are rumors that the new Elites won't come with an HDMI cable. This does. It seems like Dell always has coupons floating around, so if anyone can find one to make this cheaper I'll update the post.

FYI: There's a 60 dollar instant savings on that, I do not believe it will stack with a Coupon.

Also the older Elites are not reported to not be Jaspers.

That's just FYI: not thread crapping, I got one of these old black Elites + Fable2/Halo3 for about this price from Dell.

If this goes to $299, which is being reported as happening at Walmart very soon, then this isn't very much of a deal. You can buy HDMI cables for a few bucks from monoprice or elsewhere.

The $3-$4 HDMI cables on Amazon marketplace seem to work fine. Also if you need to hook your 360 up to Digital Optical, there seems to be a fairly straightforward hack for that as well.

I think the price drop is supposed to be coming end of this week/early next week so might as well wait till then.
