New 360 Owner Looking For GEARS

Hey wassup fellow gamers. Just was wondering for anyone who hasnt picked up a copy of Gears of War I see Frys has it on their website for 45 bucks before shipping and handling. Afterward it would be in the ball park of 54 dollars. Any one think this is a good deal or have you seen better? I might just use this 10 dollar off used coupon for gamestop to pick up a used copy as its one of the essential games for 360. Any suggestions? Also is The Darkness worth buying? Thanks and I'll let you guys know if I find more deals....
