Didn't get one, though I have to admit, I greatly prefer this technique to the "watch Amazon hang for five minutes while all the goddamned Xboxes sell out" method.

Reminds me of the GameFly "Wii a Day Giveaway" promotion. Even moreso, because I didn't win, it really reminds me of that. ;)
 
Darn, didn't get picked for the grill. I probably would have still bought it, as $20 for a $100 grill isn't bad at all. Honestly I'd rather spend $20 for the grill than $90 for a Zune.
 
How do you check if you win? If you got an email or somewhere on the Amazon.com account page?

I won! I've only got $91 free on my Amazon credit card, so I hope it goes through. There was no tax, and I selected the free shipping option.

Too bad it's only 30GB, though. I've got 35GB of MP3s, so I'm just going to Ebay this sucker. I've got a 60GB iPod video anyways.

Hooray for winning something I don't really want!

That's exactly why I didn't vote for it. I've already got a 5.5G 30GB iPod with the exact same features, except it's an iPod, has iTunes integration, etc. I was going to vote for the Zune until I realized I wouldn't have any use for it if it were free.

Wow! How'd you win that? I haven't won anything since Resident Evil 1 (before I actually owned a Playstation) and Ecco for the Dreamcast (which I had already bought and sold prior to winning).

I got a Zune. Had to think long and hard before actually ordering. Will either use it exclusively for video or ebay it. Hopefully the thing gets hacked soon to allow more uses, divx movies, etc.

Just a heads up to anyone that stalled on getting a deal, I was just clicking through the Amazon sold out section and thought I'd see if my old Amazon Prime with $100 toys gift cert. code I got in my e-mail on week 1 of the 4 weeks still worked. I had added it to my cart but never checked out. When I clicked through to Amazon Prime, I didn't even have to put my code. The deal was still showing up in my account when I checked out. I got it.

Does anyone know if Wii accessories qualify as toys? I'm not talking about the Wiimote or Nunchuck, but the Wii accessories Joytech will be coming out with (steering wheel, Wiimote charger etc.)?

FYI -
It's been hacked for hard drive use and so you can send videos to other people

Divx conversion is real simple and quick if you use WinAviVideoConvertor.
