That seems like a great price for the WHR box. lol too bad I sold all my single discs when I picked up the collection cheap. >_< Still, there's plenty in the box to make it worth $11 IMHO.

Ditto, the soundtrack alone makes it worth buying. I'll just pawn off my old single disc that Bandai sent me for free ages ago.
 
Watch out with the WHR box. They try to ask you to pay more for a shipping downgrade; saying that it has 6 dvds, even though its a 1 dvd box.

They'll let you checkout and pay, then charge your card later for more money to cover the "extra shipping costs".

Damn, you're right! I logged into my account only to find I've been charged $12.24 instead of $10.99, AND my order was downgraded to Media Mail. >_<

Well...that's bullshit. :\ lol the order has already been fulfilled/sent, so no way I can get the order back to its USPS 1st class status.

Buyrite has given me some great deals, though sometimes accidentally, (like S-CRY-ed box set for $9.99) but they always manned up to the mistake, so I dunno, I feel like maybe letting this one slide. Still kinda pissed though.

They REALLY need a different shipping system. Free upgrades are one thing, downgrades that actually cost you more is bullshit. :\
 
I don't think they can legally charge you more after you have confirmed your order with the $10.99 total, unless they obtained your permission to charge the extra $.

If you have any evidence that the total was $10.99 when you placed your order, bring the matter to your credit card company. BuyRiteDVD will have no ground to stand on.
 
Luckily i paid with paypal, so all they could do was send me a request for an additional $1.25.

I sent them an email saying either to ship it or cancel my order. I know its only $1.25; but its their method that makes me angry. This is nothing like the same company i purchased S-cry-ed from for $9.99 with a FREE upgrade to DHL shipping.
 
That Witch Hunter Robin deal is fantastic. Got mine ordered for 10.99. I already own the other Wolf's Rain box set, but I'm tempted to get that one because I like the box better.

Just a mention that I've bought a lot of stuff from BuyRiteDVD over the years and their customer service is absolutely top notch. Very reliable place.
 
heh, looks like i was able to hold my ground with my "ship it or cancel my order" email. They said they would make a one time exception for me.

Not my fault they cant program a working scale rather than doing a half assed 1 dvd, 2 dvd system.

I'll wait one more day to see if anything new develops and then I'll email them. Don't feel like bothering with it now.
 
Honestly, I can't say I've had good experiences with BuyRiteDVD's customer service lately. I've tried for months now to try and get a wholesale account through their account sign-up. Their admission service is broken (seriously, it doesn't email anyone), I've tried telling them directly through CS and I get no response. I've tried literally six times and no one answers. Not to mention they're supposed to have a "live-chat" feature but after weeks of looking, I have not encountered a single person on.

I really liked the CS we got during that crazy cool summer anime sale with free upgrades to DHL and kickass prices. This is not the same company. This reminds me...of the...other BuyRite...*gasp*.

That is an awesome price on the WHR set though. Got mine for $26 at TRSI, very nice (helps to own the singles though!).
