I want the Classic White one... :cry:

I've been planning on trading in my fat for $200 into Gamestop and then buying a new Slim, but I don't know if I'm willing to wait to see what SCEA decides to do.

god damn i want that white one. i wish they would announce if they are bringing them to the states. i'm in the same boat about trading my fat one into gamestop but i'm still on the fence.
 
that white one is nice. sucks they dont have mre colors readily available or at the very least sell replacement cases.
 
It'll be nice, but knowing SCEA, they will not bring that to the States. Best to trade it in now if you're looking to upgrade.
 
White electronics are just better looking IMO =D. Most people just want what's more unique like the Black Wii -- but I will always keep the white one.

Of course, I'm not going to get rid of my Slim just to change colors.
 
The white looks sexy, but unlike maxiumzero, it wouldn't match with anything else I own.

edit: Actually, looking at your pic again, I forgot, but I do have a white PSP (Vader one) :D

I'm just a wee bit pissed that I couldn't get my DSi XL in White...stupid Nintendo.

I'm also waiting for the White iPhone 4 to drop before I pick one up.
 
I really hope they bring the white one to the US, but if it did I'm sure it will probably come as a limited edition bundle. I'm holding off on buying a new ps3 until something new comes out.

If just a few people gets suckered into buying one of those it's worth it for them to keep it out of the box. Best Buy and other retailers also make money off selling HDMi cables separately for various products.
 
Hoping there's a subsequent price drop to clear out inventory, like Microsoft has been doing. Wouldn't mind a 120gb slim for $250 or less.

This! How about a red, blue, or silver slim to match the available controllers. I'd gladly pick up 160GB or 320GB model if available in-stores.

Uh wow that looks pretty..horrible. TV's should not be in white, it's very distracting.
Plus none of that hardware matches the brown cabinet you have.

You should've gone the all black route

HDMI cables are so fuckin' cheap online on most sites and at Kmart where the official Sony one was $8 after it hit 90% off;).

But that white PS3 is fuckin' ugly to me. If you thought the shiny shiny pretty pretty piano black case from the phat PS3 showed all the dirt/dust, wait till you get a white PS3.:roll:

I've always wanted a system with a CLEAR case so I can see the internal components working.:D That shit would be awesome if you could put in some additional LED's that spell out PS3 or something and flicker while the drive is running.:)
 
I thought American PS3s now do come with an HDMI cable.
At least the newest boxes out there do.

I like the white PS3.
Almost all my equipment is black though, but I don't mind the odd white system in there like my DC or Wii.

...Other than that, no consoles come with HDMI cables anymore. It's composite cables only.
 
Ah well, doesn't bother me personally.
But it is sad that there are people out there that don't realize they're not getting the best picture with the trusty old yellow cable.
A cheap little cable would blow their minds...
