If you get Peggle Nights, go to PopCap's website and see if you can still download their free holiday pack of levels for it.

I just checked.... the holiday pack is no longer available, but a new Spring pack is. 10 new levels, even better than the holiday pack!

Cool, it even works with the Steam version!

Thanks, I didn't know there was a new pack. Works with the Big Fish version too. It did say the Holiday pack will be available again in November 2009.

Edit: Just noticed the 360 version of Peggle will be available this Wed.

thanks for posting about the spring pack, just told my girlfriend about it
and you can grab the holiday install file from fileshack

There's nothing better than more Peggle! It looks like they are going to do more packs, too.

Now if they would just hurry up and release it on PSN...

I would be interested in grabbing a few games but just as past 50% off sales the games still cost 50% too much most of the time. Sorry but $5 seems like the fairest buy in for casual games.

Really depends on the game. Big Fish has lots of games that are full retail games, especially in the graphic adventure category. They are pretty huge downloads but worth it for those who like that genre. I've had a problem with pricing in Casual Games for awhile, too. I think Reflexive.com is getting it right. They have 3 price points now... $19.99, $9.99 and $6.99. Games like Mystery Case Files: Return To Ravenhearst really are worth $20. And with this deal it is a bargain. Some of the other games on there, $5 really is a fairer price. A lot of these titles are turning up on consoles at much higher prices. $9.99 for Puzzle Quest is a deal. You get dozens of hours of play out of that title. But you can keep Diaper Dash at any price as far as I care.

If you don't want to pay $9.99 for these games, you CAN get them cheaper by doing their Game Club. Commit to buying one game a month for a year and you can get the games for $6.99...any game they have.

would rather do the 6 months for 7.99.... only a buck more per game and your not stuck buying 12 games (only need to buy 6)

Used it to get the new "Serpent of Isis" hidden-object game (not sure why I like those games . . . usually an RPG or action/shooter kind of guy). That game has some serious problems. Some objects are impossible to discern and/or entirely unrecognizable, some scenes are too dark (brightness/contrast doesn't help), and sometimes there are multiples of a single clued object (e.g. "sign" when there are 10 in the scene). With a genre as simple as this, you'd think Big Fish would do some basic quality control.

Check out Gamezebo.com for casual games reviews...they review all the major casual games, including all Big Fish releases...they pointed out some of those problems but still liked that game...use your own judgement, since sometimes they can be too kind..

Amazon is not allowed to sell Big Fish exclusives. And Big Fish gets most of the big hidden object games as exclusives now. Amazon also has lost iWin and other major developers of casual games due to their new pricing structure. Amazon's service is really just Reflexive.com's catalog. They bought Reflexive out a few months ago. After the buyout, developers like Big Fish and iWin started yanking their games out of Reflexive and Amazon as fast as they could.

I think Amazon is being smart. A lot of these games are way overpriced and Amazon's new prices are much fairer. It is a shame they lost Big Fish and other's games. Big Fish and iWin sell most of their games cheap, too, through those stupid game clubs! They are a good deal, but I would rather pay that price once or twice and not get locked in.

Unfortunately, it looks like the days of using one casual games site are over. With all the exclusive deals and such, it looks like players will have to search Big Fish, iWin and Real Arcade to get access to the best games. I wish they'd stop fighting...
