NEW EGG XBOX 360 Farcry2 $29 Quantum Solace $27 Gta4 $28 TCEndWar $27 ...

Man, you got to it before I did. I was going to report on T Clancy: End War for 26.99. Thx for the post! I didn't know about the other deals!

Nice find. I wish I could be convinced that QoS is worth $27. IIRC the reviews were lukewarm (although I think it wasn't so much quality as length), and the screenshots are cheesy.

I did really enjoy Everything or Nothing, but this is a different game, different studio, etc. Anybody care to compare them?

QoS is worth a rental. The game uses the CoD4 engine, but the game is still tipping on the mediocre scale. Playing the game on the hardest difficulty isn't even a challenge. The online is lack-luster and tacked-on.

Save the money and give it a rental, the game is very short but enjoyable while it lasts but can easily be beat in a rental period if not less, and you will see everything you want to as far as multiplayer in the rental period as well.

When will they bring Goldeneye to a console with online features?!?

GoldenEye would require a complete overhaul if it came to a current gen console. I ended up playing it after I took out my N64 so my sister could use it. Gotta say, FPS's are a lot different when the controls utilize one stick.

I'm tempted on End War. Mostly for a present for my friend.

Jeez, EndWar has already hit budget prices on consoles, and it still isn't out on PC. At least there's only a few more day left to wait...

On that note, Steam is running a deal where if you pre-purchase EndWar, you'll get GRAW for free. The downside is that EndWar is $50 on Steam, so the console folks get the better deal here.

So is Farcry2 worth it even at that price? I have been wanting to pick it up but read so much negativity about it so I never did. Maybe it is worth it at this price?

EndWar for $27 is super tempting at that price. The gameplay looked like a lot of fun and the theater of war online mode looked pretty cool. Normally i'm a PC RTS guy, but EndWar looks like it designed for consoles. I might bite...

I like QOS multiplayer.( except the overpowered shotguns) I am surprised more people don't play it. The single player campaign is on the short side. I think it is worth $26 and I wouldn't think twice once it drops below $20.

Endwar's price has been going down faster than a prostitute, I'd wait until it hits $15 or below before pulling the trigger.

Bit on Tomb Raider. 35 was my limit, and with free shipping, can't ask for more than that. Could have waited for a cheaper price in a few weeks / months, but I'm a fan of the series. Been beating myself about this one. :)

End War looks like a fun game, but I think I'm with you on this one. $20 and below is my price point. (Spoken in true CAGer fasion):baby:

Well, Tomb Raider: Underworld would sure be worth that. The others aren't bad, though not mind blowing.

Underworld was (not to my surprise) PC Gamer's game of the year. I'm expecting it to be my favorite game of 2008 too, based on how awesome Legend was.

Farcry 2 and Quantum of Solace are semi-tempting. At least QoS has to be better than the EA Bond games...I hope :D
Farcry is looking pretty tempting but I havent played it on xbox yet. I have it on PC, does anyone here like it on xbox?
love it but it does get repetitive...
In for 1 on Endwar. I'm a sucker for all those voice recognition games. Thanks OP.
"All those voice recognition games"? You say that as though there were a lot of games using voice command. Am I missing something?

No, I'm not implying there are alot of games that use voice recognition. I'm saying I enjoy all the games that do use the technology mainly due to the novelty of voice recognition. All those games I am referring to would be Seaman on the Dreamcast, LifeLine on the PS2, S.W.A.T. and Rainbow Six on Xbox. Heck, I even use the voice recognition feature on Phoenix Wright.

Agreed. A lot more clunky and clunky than other games. It still would not be a buy at around $15 either.
Dark Sector is $9.99 shipped. I think I saw it posted somewhere, but still a good deal.

What, no love for SOCOM (the original) on the PS2?

I miss those days:

Me: "Jester - Attack Bravo"

Jester: "I don't think so, sir."

Me: "JESTER - ATTACK BRAVO!"

Jester: "Not today, sir."

I'm getting so nostalgic I may just have to go load it up now.

when do these deals expire? are they for the day? weekend? i'm still debating whether or not to get EndWar. If i got it, would anybody be up for casual matches? maybe a CAG EndWar night? Oh wait...does that game's multiplayer set-up even allow that?

Sure. Might motivate me to break the seal on my copy of EndWar, which I'm reluctant to do because it came all the way from Play-Asia in HONG KONG. (Sits back smugly) That's China.

Try days. It's already down to $30 at most Targets and should be either $15 or $20 depending on your store on Monday.

I've only gotten a deal at Target once, even if that's the case. And regardless, Tomb Raider: Underworld is one of those rare games I was actually willing to pay a lot for.

Unfortunately, TR:U didn't sell very well, so I would be surprised if you couldn't find it at a local Target. All three near me have between 10 and 15 copies each in the glass case tagged at $30 right now. Like I said, tomorrow it drops to $15. I'm not sure what the point of paying too much for a game is, especially if you're buying it now which is well after launch and paying a premium over what you can find it for at a local store.

Can you list off some of the Target stores that have these great clearance deals in the Los Angeles area? I live near the Culver City one and have checked a few times, but never find the deals others are seeing.

C'mon, no need to mention "Vietnamese," surely.
