New fye/coconuts/etc. promo B3G1 free for used cd's DVD's and games

CAGiversary!
I was calling around to see who was still doing the trade in promo and most of the fye and coconuts stores told me about this promo going on, it started yesterday.

Buy 3 used games, get one free used game.

I assume the price of the free game cannot exceed the highest price of the bought games.

Never "assume" on CAG. Someone should ring up the most expensive game last and see if it works as that CC sale a few months back did. Maybe it's manual adjustment so all you need is a dumb employee to discount the last?

Ahh, It's rather depressing though. I took a look at what was available in the used game section for a few fye(s) before this recent sale:
1) Many, many Total Overdose
2) Many, many old sports games
3) Tons of other trade fodder from ebgames and CC.

Looks like we've created this problem though, so cannot blame anyone but ourselves.

On two different occassions, I did find nice gems, though. Almost new SMT:Nocturne ($30 bucs, and sold on half.com for 65), and a mint non-PC copy of RE 4 for GC (still on my trade list, shameless plug:lol: )

I'm found some decent used games at decent prices before at FYE. But let's not forget the greatest find of them: 2 Marvel vs. Capcom 2s brand new for $32 a piece (before 10% discount)... also used trade in credit I accumulated thanks to Army Men RTS, Malice, etc. It was really about 1/4 or 1/3 of $32 in actual cash then... ;)

Sold them for an extremely pretty penny..
