Bandai announces Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam; game based on the popular Japanese franchise is coming this summer.
Bandai today announced that Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam will be coming to the PlayStation 2 this summer. This title is the latest in the prolific series of Gundam games that date back to the early '90s.

Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam takes place seven years after the One Year War. Although victorious, the Earth Federation succumbs to corruption, and the Titans' police force assumes absolute power. To overthrow the Titans, the heroes and enemies from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series must band together.

There will be 31 new mobile suits to operate, and each can transform into its mobile armor form. Gamers will be able to play on the side of good or evil as a member of the rebel A.E.U.G. or oppressive Titans.
 
speaking of gundam what was the name of the gundam they were showing on cartoon netwrok think it was called gundam007. there was this sweet part where the main character ripped the arm off his own gundam and beat the other guy senseless. (if thats not gangsta when what is)

Well, I'm pretty sure Cartoon Network has showed only these Gundam series/movies:


G Gundam
Gundam Wing
SD Gundam
Gundam Seed
Mobile Suit Gundam
Gunam: 08th *Something*
 
Cartoon Network also aired Gundam 0080 and 0083, if I recall.
Sounds like he's mixing Gundam and Cyborg 009, another pretty good show Cartoon Network showed for a while.

i remember it was a gundam show because i was never interested in anything gundam until that came along. amybe this ill help you guys help theres this other scene where the guy and girl are stranded together and the guy lets the girl fix his gundam because his hands are burnt and then they use the the laser sword for the gundam to make a hot spring in the snow. the anime was only about 10 episodes long i think. does anyone know now?

I own Journey to Jaburo, Gundam Battle Assault 1/2, and seon versus Federation, oh yaeh and that one SD one that just came out, and they mostly suck. Some good parts but really are terrible in their own ways.

Not very good, go here and search for Gundam and you can see for yourself.
 
They only release sucky Gundam games in the U.S. The good ones like Lost War Chronicle and Giren's Greed never get released outside of Japan.
