New Halo 2 pic

I like the game, and am awaiting it's sequel, but I for one am tired of every website/mag/fan drooling over one new pic. Another 10 minute movie? That would get me interested, but not a damned picture.
In case you are confused, he meant the bottom right :p
Your right. For some reason my brain has not been working today.
Anyway, the next Gameinformer is supposed to have a big Halo 2 feature with tons of new info and pics. Perhaps that will get some of your intrests up.

You guys that think Halo is just okay are insane. Is it the cool new thing to act like you don't like Halo? If you are some creepy RPG fanboy who wears the black jeans-black tshirt combo I could see how you might not like it, but come on. Great graphics, gameplay, sound, and tons of replay. All it needs is some 20 minute pre-rendered cut scenes and then everyone would love it. I do agree with the whole people freaking out every time a new Halo 2 pic is out. I mean I'm as excited as the next guy, but it's just a damn picture.

Halo is a great game. But I can wait for Halo 2. I have plenty of other games to play.

I'm sure with all the delays on this title that the developers of this game are crossing their t's and dotting their i's in order to provide us Halo fans with a superior followup to the original.

It is a little nonsensical how a lot of gamers drool over every new little bit of Halo 2 info.

These creen shot are interesting but Id rather see gameplay photos from the FP view to get an idea of what the final game will look like

...count how many characters are on screen, how much detail is in each character and the surrounding enviroment and it starts to get jaw dropping. VERY impressive.

Yes, i am a graphics/cgi whore. Bite me.

I'm going to purchase it as soon as it comes out for full price. That should give you an idea of about how crazy I am for it.

im an fps fanboy. but halo NEVER impressed me. it looked like it had so much potential, but playing it i was like "meh". cliched story, stolen ideas etc. there are much better fps's available.

This screenshots are taken in game , though from a free fly mode. This is from the January 30 Halo 2 update at http://halo.bungie.org/halo2updates/allupdates.html
The screenshot he is talking about is the first multiplayer screenshot, with the reds in the warthog and the blues attacking them.

Brian, me, Lorraine, and a bunch of other lucky staffers have been impossibly busy this week, basically taking a kickass SCREENSHOT of Halo 2.

It's really important to point out that this screen is straight from the current game engine. The resolution is a little sharper thanks to the way screens are dumped from the frame buffer, but this is entirely representative of the lighting, polygon counts, bump-mapping and particle effects. There's no trickery or BS here. And of course, this is early stuff, so things will change and improve between now and launch. We basically played the game and took a ton of shots until we finally picked the one that rocked the hardest, and best represented what playing that level was like.
