So, I have an OG 20GB Xbox. I'm just about totally out of HDD space and am looking at grabbing a 60GB off Amazon for $45. I dont feel like spending the extra $15 for the transfer cable, so I'm wondering, since I have around 200 Rockband songs on my HDD, if I can just re-download those songs on the new HDD without there being licensing issues? The same goes for the COD map packs.

Yes, or...you could use a thumbdrive and copy the stuff over.
