All right, I sure many of you played some arcade or video game before where you have to enter your initials when getting a high or ranked score. It's usually a 3 or 4 characters/digits. Do you enter your real initials (you don't have to specify if they are real), online name/initial, or just some word you like?

For me, when I have to enter 3 characters/digits, I usually say: TCH
Sometimes, I say: TMK (For The Mana Knight)

If I have four characters/digits, I either leave a space blank (enter what I usually do), or I say: MANA

I enter my initials as JXY as they are my real initials. Well... at least, the full version of my name, Chacranajxy has a JXY at the end, and that's what I put. So it's sorta my real initials.

To let everyone know, you don't have to give out your real initials, just say "I choose to enter my real initials" or something like that.

I usually use my real initials since there aren't many people who have the same as me, and people who see the scores will KNOW its me. :)

Back in 1998ish, a friend and I filled up the high score table on a MSH vs. SF machine at a local theater. When we were finished it read.

JAY
FAG
BOY
SUX
JON

Epic lulz.
Well, I thought ASS was funny as a young kid..
it just sort of happened. my friend brian (beej) put his name in normally. somebody put in dik for obvious reasons, and i got the top 2 on there. all different times, but i think it came together nicely.

*the picture is from my camera phone, when i got the last one i took the picture and sent it to beej.
I never get high scores..
I was thrilled to get the high score on an old donkey kong machine once. Come to find out they reset the scores every day on it :p

OGR for "Ogre." A nickname that stuck with me from middle school in the early 90's until now. But it was taken from the guy in Revenge of the Nerds, so it is awesome.

I used to use JER on the killer instinct & MK2 machines I'd play when I was younger. It's what some people call me, but not my initials.

DIK is a good use of a high score as well.

If it's a high score that I think is an accomplishment, I use BOB or ROCK. If it's not, I just go through quickly hitting the first that that pops up, which is usually either END or A. My sister uses part of her name, LIZ and my mom goes about using MOM for hers.

The whole "ROCK" thing is a direct translation into english of my last name.

my friend used to call himself madkao back in the days,

so he put MKAO as his initials on DDR machines.

then sum kid saw it and said "does that stand for Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen?"

That's funny because there was a guy we grew up with we used to call ogre after the nerds movie.... :whistle2:s you wouldn't happen to be from Milwaukee would you?

I've never put in a name for any arcades, only console games. If the high score is being fought over I'll put "TOM" but if it's a game only I play I just leave it as "AAA".

I wonder of Cheapy used CAG?

I used FR... if the game didn't allowed for a space then I'd made it something like FR!, FR_, FR., or something like that.

You'll have to have a climactic battle with my ex-girlfriend for those initials sometime. Her name is Tomoko and she likes to think she has a monopoly on TMK:lol:

As for me, I've never really cared about high scores so I'd leave it as AAA most of the time. Sometimes I'll go the extra mile and strike in ASA, since that's my actual name, and it's a shame to let a perfectly good 3 letter name go to waste.

I'd use ASS or 6T9, my firends would use PUS and COC. I loved using 6T9 in Mortal Kombat 4, because the deep MK voice called out each letter. Puts a smile on my face every time.
gotta leave the house first
It would be pretty awesome if he went out in pursuit of her though. She's married to a military man, so he would be able to have an exciting boss fight before he finally gets the princess.

I put in Jiz, Sex, Cok, Cum, n1g, tit, bal, fag, poo, ass etc...

every once in a great while I put in Jim or sometimes JFF, my initials.
I go with KEN normally. It is my name after all.
If I had a short name, I'd do the same too. Since my name is a tad longer, I can't do that. :(
