New Kmart Clearance Price Drops (YMMV)

I just got back from my first trip to Kmart since the incredibly terrible "10-50% off clearance games" ad from 2 weeks ago, and this time there were quite a few unannounced drops. What I saw was:

:ps3:
Bioshock GH $6.99 (previously $9.99)
Front Mission Evolved $9.99 (previously $19.99)
Rock Band Country Pack 2 $4.99 (previously ?)
Dragon Age II $17.99 (previously $19.99)
There were 3-4 other rock band track packs for $4.99 also (previously ?)

:360:
Bayonetta $9.99 (previously $19.99)

:ds:
Glory of Heracles $9.99 (previously $14.99)

If I go again in the next few days, I'll let everyone else know what else went down. Best of luck to everyone finding some other deals!

I picked up:
De Blob 2 (PS3) $4.97
Playstation Move Heroes (PS3 duh) $4.97
Yoostar 2 In the Movies (X360) free

Games were marked $9.95 but rang up $4.97. Cashier had to do an override to make
the B2G1 deal to work.
 
Shitty store was shit. Nothing was marked B2G1, no advertisement either. Barely anything at all had a clearance sticker. Shit that others said was on clearance was not, for ex Yakuza 4 was $19.99, Enslaved was $15 or $20. I did see 2 collectors editions that only had 1 copy of each, Gears of War 3 Epic Edition $70 and some World of Warcraft Limited Edition ~$60 forget which expansion it was.

The local to work Kmart did a little rearranging of the video game section. Which made the store look even more like shit - since all the aisles aren't lined up where they used to be and the floors are all yellow and rusty looking now from old spots.
Saw this game on clearance shelf too which looks like it must have been sitting on a window sill for years, or in a hole or something.

Definitely wasn't a wasted trip since i grabbed 2 Guitar Hero WoR guitar bundles for $11 each (out of system, so gave it to me for $11). Then i had the triple kmart points to use ($11.xx) so worked out very nicely.

So I picked up a copy of Band Hero for $3. What exactly am I in for here?

And if anyone's interested I scanned a copy of PS3 You Don't Know Jack: $4.97
 
I picked up a :ps3:Eye and a :ps3:Chatpad from my local Kmart for $8.46 total($4 each). Both were out of the system. Only other thing they had were about 3-4 copies of the :ps3:Enslaved game for $5 and 2-3 out of the system copies of :ps3:DJ Hero.

The LBP GOTY/Sackboy plush bundle they had there for months was long gone.

I already skimmed back in this thread(luckily since KM is DOA for this anymore it was only a few pages at most ;)) and I believe someone reported getting one of those bundles for $14.97 or so.
 
For some reason the promo isn't working properly in the system.... It's not marking down the 3rd cheapest game on clearance at all. Manager overrides are required. :( It's been a bitch of a week getting things to work...heck even regular games aren't getting the markdowns either. Manager had to override and ended up giving Fifa 13 for a penny, which in the end gave the customer his 15 dollar coupon anyways. :|

I really want to get some games, but with this many problems, management and LP would probably think I am playing the system...not my fault the system isn't updating properly for the promos.
 
Yeah it is annoying that it isn't working automatically. KMart should have made sure the 3rd game would ring up for free without any problems after last time they had that buy 1 get 1 50% off on clearance games that also didn't work automatically.

True. Some of the ones I've seen look like they're stuck in the 70's. Although the one in Edwardsville(PA) area just recently got a major overhaul. Although that was only due to the whole store getting flooded by last springs storms and runoff from the winter.

The littlebigplanet 1 goty + sackboy doll rang up as $11.22 today. I bought three of the bundles today for $22.45 after b2g1free was applied. My only complaint is that all of the stuffed dolls were the generic sackboys. There weren't any other characters or costumes.

My receipt shows:
LBP Coll Pk
2 @ 1/$11.22 A $22.44 T
LBP Coll Pk.... O $0.01 T

I was charged a penny for the last one because b2g1free doesn't ring up automatically in store.

Keep in mind that the Little Big Planet 2 Collector's Ed. also comes with a sackboy. The LBP 2 CE is $37 so I bought it with two $35 Resistance + dualshock 3 bundles for about $72 total (b2g1free).

You should've hit up a few of the closing Blockbuster stores then. I was getting some for $1.29 each once they hit 90%.;) I still have an armies' worth of them sitting in my closet and since Amazon is likely to block my seller account soon for the busier fall/Christmas selling season because I'm not a high volume seller(and I tend to undercut other people by $.01-.05 just to get my listing to be the lowest ;)) I'm likely stuck with them till Doomsday.:whistle2:#

I searched for them during that epic clearance sale as well as my local blockbuster closings this year. I've never seen any of them in the wild.
 
I found a bunch, but I also ended up buying 2-4 of them at 75% off cuz I didn't know if they'd make it to the full 90%. But I ended up finding way too many. Not to mention I think I picked up 3-5 Snuggies, among tons of other stuff. Most of it is actually up on my TL on here now I think. ;)

I made a comment(or three) back after someone insulted me for my then custom user title(F^&# SHC-Gamer), then proceeded to delete those comments and comments I made towards people telling me to basically STFU, which included one saying essentially that I don't give a fuck what people on here think of me.

Yet I still ended up banned for two weeks, while guys like confoosious get to make snide/snotty/snarky comments towards people all the fuckin' time and jack shit happens to them.:roll:
 
Nice to hear it's running, too bad my Kmart doesn't have shit as far as any clearance. It was either ransacked already(wouldn't be surprised) or they just don't keep as much of an inventory like they did(also wouldn't be surprised). There's a newer one that reopened a few weeks ago I might check on the off chance they have something this weekend, but I'm not holding my breathe.

How did you CAGs get the buy 2 get 1 free thing to work on regular games? The k-mart near me won't let me do the buy 2 get 1 free unless it has the clearance sticker on it. They didn't even bother to ring it up. Please help. :cry:

I was up that way tonight too. I should've stopped in and saw what was left.:cry: Mind you, I still haven't used the Singstar + Dance or whatever the fuck that shit was that I got a while ago on clearance.:whistle2:# It's too bad someone cleared out all of the copies of Singularity from that store a while ago, as I'd have likely picked that up again for $5 or so.

That doesn't surprise me. The Wilkes Barre one off of 81 is just as bad.

I even tried a couple of Salvos in the past couple of weeks and there's just nothing around here. I don't know if you've checked the CL lately, but if it isn't a Wii/PS3/360 there's just... shit. and I check it all the time.

Pittston had a bunch of stuff, mostly the keypads and PS EYE's a few months ago. But if they're still there now they're probably out of the system by now. That's where I picked up a Tony Hawk Ride bundle for $5 as a joke gift for my one buddies nieces and nephew to goof around with for the rest of the summer.

Eh, I probably don't need to be buying much more for a couple of weeks anyway. Going to a football game Sunday, fair tomorrow, and I got a vacation at the end of October. The GF might get upset if we get to VA and I a) spend all my money before we're there or b) spend my time searching for deals there... although...
 
I've been eyeballing a Uncharted dual pack with blue dualshock 3 controller that's not tagged. Last time I checked it was $45 in early August, anyone else check on one of these lately?

Some fucker bought two of those 25 dollars wireless kinect steering wheels I was eyeballing for a few weeks waiting for it to hit under 2O. Also the 5O Fable 3 CE was sold but later returned........eh?
