New Legend of Zelda and Mario Baseball screens.

:( I enjoyed Mario Sunshine. It certainly wasn't revolutionary, but I thought it was a lot of fun.

Sorry but I hated it.

The puzzles and mini games are great, getting to the puzzles and mini games are so bad, I hate the levels so much, and the storyline... I hate it.

And the camra in the mini games are never right and you die trying to get to them right.

Fair enough. I hope the next real Mario game is based on the void levels from SMS. Just set it in the Mushroom Kingdom with goombas and the like, and you've got one kickass game.

mario 64 ruined the series

I cant wait for the new Zelda. It will be one of the reasons I own a Gamecube.
But Mario Baseball? Is their even enough characters to make a baseball game with more then two or three teams. Maybe they should have made a Nintendo baseball, with characters from all of Nintendo's games.

It may not be a new Baseball Stars, but at least it looks more interesting than the derivative MLB shit that gets released every year. Don't get me wrong, I love MLB, but the same stuff by EA and Acclaim, year after year doesn't cut it anymore.

That new Super Mario Bros. for the DS looks promising, admittedly based on one or two screenshots. Although I'd prefer a fully 2D game, a 2D style game with 3D graphics isn't a bad substitute.

Mario 64 is one of the best games ever made.

Dispite being all new with the 3D and stuff a lot of people got bored of the free roaming design of Mario64. I only played it a few times when it first came out so I can only say it was okay and I liked the graphics but it didnt rock my world.

I agree. I also hated the idea of having to play the same levels over and over again just to get more stars. My favorite mario game is Super Mario World because of the amount of levels, and the variety of them. Mario Sunshine did the same thing where you had to replay the same levels 6 or 7 times, and it got really boring to me.

So far the ONLY reason i own a gamecube is because of the zelda titles... oh yeah and tales of symphonia.
Mario Baseball doesn't have any info and EB doesn't even have it listed for release.
That's because it was just announced 2 days ago...

There are a few other good exclusives like...Mario Kart...and Rogue Leader 2...and Eternal Darkness, but your right, Zelda is pretty much the only reason to own a cube.

I play baseball too

Maybe I'll be a secret character

Can anyone tell me where Nintendo said the new Zelda was coming out on the GameCube? I for some reason don't think it is. I know everyone is predicting Winter 2005 but where did they get that date from.

Well the real date is Summer 2005.

It will be for the Gamecube because it is using the Windwaker engine and that would be pointless if it was for the N5.

Now I don't know why people think that Mario 128 will be for the Gamecube. They never showed and, and most likely never will.

I'm too tired to find it but in a mailbag letter to IGN asking if the Zelda game was coming out for Cube or Revolution, the IGN guys said he asked Nintendo and confirmed that it IS coming out for the cube. If you want to read it yourself, check the IGN CUBE mailbag section from about a month ago.
