He wasn't aware that the people who stood in line to get a PS3 were putting them on ebay, but a few questions later, he says "people are making $2,000 profit on them." :lol:
Then he said he'd pay someone like $1200 for a PS3, and EGM countered with "we called stores, and half the stores we called had them in stock" :lol:
And dont forget, movie studios are the reason UMDs failed. ;)

Same here. Usually I check this thread whenever I see it updated, but I haven't checked in the past few days.

I signed up for the last offer and haven't got anything either. Oh well.

Just when I thought all the EGM subs I signed up for went through, my EGM sub has managed to expand to another two years (from October 2011 to October 2013). I didn't realize I had signed up for that many free subs.

edit: 10,000 subs total available. I think I got in--says my entry was accepted and that first issue is sent in 6-8 weeks blah blah blah.
 
I haven't seen any free ones, but someone posted a way to get them for like $5 for 2 years or something like that. Search the thread and it should come up.
 
A while back there was a Psychology Today subscription. I got through and received 2 issues, then they stopped. Did this happen to anyone else? Is this prone to happen given the free nature of the magazines? The only others I've ever received are EGM and Tips and Tricks, and I've never had a problem receiving them.
 
Ah I can't seem to be lucky with those egm/computer gaming world subscriptions, but glad I got accepted to some others great thread and will report what I get sometimes.

I had one sub that expired, then I signed up for another, and I get it again now. Come to think of it, its been almost a month since I got my last issue.

With thanks to you and others in these threads, I've had subs to:

-EGM until October 2013
-OPM until the final issue (my sub was due to end a month prior, so seeing the final issue in the mail was a nice surprise)
-Tips and Tricks (I believe I just got my final issue)
-Maxim until December 2008
-Stuff until November 2010
-FHM until the final issue (my sub would have ended in September)
-Interview until July
-Blender (ended last year)
-Spin (just ended in February)
-TV Guide (ended last May - too bad the last free sub offer that was posted here didn't go through. Oh well!)
