I wouldn't mind picking that up but it'll be close to ~$280 since its two full priced games.Ill just wait for an xl bundle version with sun/moon
I felt the exact same way. I was pretty pissed off when they decided against bringing the standard-sized N3DS stateside. I bought an XL because I was borrowing a friend's 3DS, and wanted to get my own, and just stood by the fact that would be my best option. I wasn't a fan. The design was bulky, I hated carrying it around, and I liked the idea of swappable faceplates.Man. I'd really like a non-XL N3DS. Guess this is the only way to get one in the states? Hope they have some more retail releases of that smaller model. I personally couldn't care less whether it's themed or not.
There's a special place in hell for people who choose larger screens with the same resolution.![]()
Thanks for this. I have to admit that I've never held a non XL 3DS in my hands. I'll try to do that before I make another sweeping generalization about damning people I don't know to hell for all eternityI felt the exact same way. Fast forward to last month. Stop in to see a friend at GS, and they have one Pokemon 3DS. I buy it because Pokemon was one of the few Nintendo franchises I enjoyed (roughly past-tense. X/Y were good and I got maybe 30 hours into Omega and Alpha and called it quits.) But I was ecstatic to have the standard N3DS. I'd dealt with an XL for about a year and had... Grown accustom to it. I did my transfer, started playing around with the new model. I played some Xenoblade and realized, while it is not the prettiest game, it was better built for the XL. I messed around with Colors! 3D and MH4U. I started to realize... I liked the XL. I really did. I used to say the same thing about pixel density as you said, but come on, it is the 3DS... We're not talking about high resolution in the first place.
Moral of my long-winded story? I guess I got what I wanted but came to prefer what I had to buy in the first place. I'm trading in my Pokemon 3DS at this point to Amazon. C'est la vie.
