New P2 controller - check it out
It looks ok. For some reason though, I've never been a big fan of wireless controllers.
Same here.. batteries suck.

I have owned two Air Flo controllers. One for Xbox, one for PS2. The PS2 controller lasted maybe a week. The Xbox controller lasted maybe 3 months. Cool concept, just not very sturdy.

heard of wavebird...its the best controller ever. and batteries are great. i can never go back to reg controller

Sony and Microsoft should wise up and design first party wireless controllers like Nintendo. Wavebird simply puts all other wireless to shame, and I'd love to have a wireless controller for my PS2 or Xbox that I can rely on not to break in a week.

I have to agree, I just got a Wavebird last week. I thought it was too bulky and I didn't want to bother with it. Now I know differently. It's the same size as a regular controller, just as comfortable, and spot on response makes me wish I had taken the plunge a long time ago. I'l never go back to a regular controller now either.

And as for the Air-flo, It's a cool concept, but I have the first generation ones and they're a bit bulky. I'm curious as to the battery life of this thing also, it takes a lot of power to run a fan .

I got a Pelican Chameleon Wireless controller for PS2 for $14.99 at Circuit City (in the race and play pack), and it's been wonderful! Great control configuration, very comfortable, nice battery life (Manufacturer's specs say 300 hours...I haven't had to change mine yet after about 3 months.), very light, and most of all, extremely cheap! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a wireless PS2 controller (I don't even miss the vibration!).

For Gamecubers, the Wavebird is also very nice. Xboxers should try the Pelican Eclipse Wireless (not very sturdy, but cheap!) or the Logitech Cordless Controller (not very cheap, but sturdy!).

EDIT: For those interested in the PS2 Chameleon, it's on sale for only $19.99 shipped at Circuit City. Good deal, plus you get an RC car! :) http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.j...ookmark=bookmark_0&oid=84314&catoid=-9263&m=0

ROFL thats one of the stupidest things i have ever seen. They are trying to cram every feature to date in one controller. Besides I stick with the 1st party controllers. I never use 3rd party.

that looks like a hella tight cintroller, i have always wanted to get an airflo controller and a wireless, but now i can get both of them at the same time, this look as though it could be a good one!

thanks,

hM

Yeah check the Logitech Wireless PS2 contoller. Logitech makes superior products in general (ie mice) so hopefullly this carries over to this also.

If you want to hold this go to Best Buy I believe they have these on display. At Walmart B&M they have this for $40.

$50 at walmart.com

Here is the manufacturer website.

Just noticed they have a $10 rebate for this controller. Wonder if you can buy this at Walmart and the rebate is good, or do you have to purchase from Logitech.com. HMMM.

The new Logoiecth rules! I picked up one last nigt at Wal-mart and its AWESOME! One of the most confrontable controllers I have ever held.

Hey on the new Logitech are the analogs really loose or did they put some tension on them now??? That was always my problem with the old one, it was the only reason i would never invest in one. Oh, and as far as that controller by nyko goes it looks like it could double as a  vibrator for your girlfriend

yeah I had such a horrible experiance with my first PC logitech dual analog controller that I swore never to buy another, complete piece of crap.

i don't know about all of you, but my hands don't really get so sweaty that i need little fans blowing air on them the whle time i'm playing!

I got the same wireless controller as cheapest ass gamer (The Pelican Chameleon), and it ROCKS. I love the adjusted button layout (R2 and L2 are redesigned into triggers like the N64 Z button) and the battery life is great (easily 50 hours on 2AA, no rumble). My only issue with the controller is the D-Pad, it enters in random inputs at times (Press up, get left up for no reason). It's an excellent wireless controller though, especially for the price.
