New Paypal/ebay Coupons! [Expired ATM]

Restrictions (from SD)

*$5.00 off coupon valid for any single item of $50.00 or more, $15.00 off coupon valid for any single item of $100 or more (coupons may not be combined).

Also many SDers are reporting that the coupon won't work for them. Seems semi-random.

Okay, so 10% off $25 or less, $5 off $50 or more, and $15 off $100 or more, right?

And where do you enter these codes? Been a while since I've ebay'd or paypal'd.

I don't know if the $25 max means $25 limit to what you save (so 10% off the first $250 of your item) or 10% off an item of $25 or less. My guess would be it's a $25 limit to your savings.

When you pay with PayPal there is a field to enter a coupon.
I'm assuming eBay absorbs the cost and sellers still get full payment of the buy it now price (with shipping, if applicable)?
Yes, sellers don't issue the coupon, it comes from eBay/PayPal directly so they take the hit.

when you go to pay for the item on paypal there will be a box that says something like coupon or promotional code and you enter it there
Just to be clear the 10% off is for up to a $250 dollar purchase.
I think it'll work with any amount, even over $250. But you'll get the same disccount if you spend $250 or $1000. Anything over $250 is just $25 off.

ah, dammit, I just paid someone 90 bucks paypal for an ebay auction. Although these must not have been active at the time, I searched high and low.
anyway, thanks for the post.

Do I have to purchase something today to use the code or can I use the code on a buy-it-now auction that I won two days ago?

How likely is this to work? I'm in the market for a PS2, and it would be nice to save $15, but I'd rather get it from a store if it'd be the same price.

so I take it these don't work if you are not buying things from ebay. Like if you buy through paypal on a different website.

I just used one of the coupons for a xmas present and they WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even managed to talk the seller into waving shipping charges!

i think its the item cost.. But the First coupon can be used for any amount up to $250.

Max value of 25 dollars in savings.
Are these coupons still legit? I'm planning a few BIN purchases based on the fact that I can save $10-25.....
You can't combine BIN's. It'll only do a discount on 1 item.

These work as well-I used the 10% off one about half an hour ago so I know that one works.

Does any code work on non buy it nows ?

Used stink_pickles codes today and got 10% off a gamecube. It was an auction and not a bin. The other codes (from the start of the thread) are expired. Thanks stinky

Glad they work for you. Im not sure if they work for BIN's since I hardly ever touch em to try it out.

I just used this on a $76 item... please delete the "up to $25" from post #1 since it's not accurate.

thanks!

I think the "up to $25" part means that you can only get up to $25 off the price.

"10% off next ebay purchase up to $25.00" is poor grammar. Makes it look like the coupon's only good for prices $25 or less.

It should say (maximum refund = $25) so we don't get confused & because that's the typical wording on coupons.

thanks,
troy

I just used the first code, and it worked. Also, it doesn't have to be on a buy it now ...I used it on an auction. Thanks!
