New PayPal Shipping

Before you ask, I don't have a credit card. I'm a college student so I really don't see the need for one right now, especially with all the debt I'm already in.

Anyway, the PayPal shipping page has a new layout and now all of a sudden, it's asking me to attach a credit or debit card when paying for the postage. Up until now, I've always been able to pay with my PayPal balance. So am I basically screwed when it comes to printing labels from PayPal now? At least until I do get a credit card?
 
As far as I can see, Paypal has turned over it's shipping to eBay shipping. I hate it. The only redeeming quality is that int'l packages can now go first class (which wasn't an option before), but everything else is worse... more rules and restrictions about what you can and can't do, how to pay for it, etc.
 
Apparently, I can bypass it by using Multi-Order shipping. It's extremely inconvenient, but at least it works. Just printed off two labels (for CAGs actually) and was able to use my balance without it once asking for a credit/debit card.

I'm surprised you didn't use that from the start.

It's like the only option for me to ship through Paypal, and I don't think I've actually used anything else to ship things on Paypal other than multi-order shipping.

Really? Well I've only ever had to ship 1 or 2 things a day so using the standard PayPal shipping link worked really well for me. For reference, this is the link I use, although it looks different now:

the point of a credit card is to also build up credit. Just get 1, send a bit any pay off each month. You will need it when you want to buy a car or house in the future
 
Yeah no way around it even if you have enough money in your account it'll still say ''this merchant requires a credit card''. I'm just happy its back it was down for weeks on my account and I couldn't make any labels.
