looking for comments, suggestions, on a new PC build, Overclocking is not a major concern
yes there are a few things missing, no need for a CASE, HD or more RAM atm
the bugget is around $550
I was looking to make something, that would be upgradeable, thats one of the reasons its an SLI mobo
not sure if I really need it, or the dual core. mainly a gaming and home PC,

wanted a 7950GT but went with the 7600GT cause from what ive seen the $100 extra isnt worth the performance

any improvements, suggestions, ideas are wellcome

If you're going to be buying a new pc now, why not go AM2 or Core2Duo? Don't want to buy new ram? If so than it looks fine, but you should really reconsider.

The problem was the memory. Look at the CAS latency on the 939, 2-2-2-5. On the AM2 rig they were 5-5-5-12. As soon as low latency DDR2 memory becomes affordable AM2 will score higher benchmarks. In addition AM2 is compatible with AM3 where 939 is fading out.
