New Pokemon Spinoff Announced

It looks like it might be the most awesome thing ever. I'm a little sad that they're making it for the DS though. It's weird, you think they'd make it for the 3DS to help push sales.
 
Wish it had some damn gameplay. Been saying for years a Digimon Tactical rpg would be awesome (you know recruit digimon they level up and evolve), this is the next best thing.
 
I am interested if it comes to the US and if gameplay looks decent, glad its for the DS since I don't plan on buying the 3DS for a while.
 
I love Koei. I love Pokemon. This is the most bizarre crossover ever, but I'll be buying it and playing it regardless.

I don't think that its chances of coming to the US are that great considering that the DS is being phased out here and Nintendo would have to completely whitewash the Sengoku Jidai references, but fortunately it looks like the text isn't in kanji so it might be readable with my small level of Japanese language skill.

Uesugi Kenshin being paired off with Mewtwo is the coolest thing ever.
 
The only Pokemon game since the original Gold and Silver that I'm excited about, and I'm disappointed that Nintendo of America would wuss out in releasing it here.

After watching FIM abridged episode 2 I wouldn't mind seeing a MLP FIM RPG in the style of the old final fantasies.
 
I envisioned NIS doing something like this, but Koei's cool alternative. Really bizarre crossover, though. The fact that it's a Pokemon title leaves me optimistic it'll be translated. The fact that it's a nobunaga game and a DS game at that leaves some cause for concern, though.
