I am definitely going to wait until after E3 to get a PS3 now with all this talk of new bundles. I just hope Amazon gets them because I have $150 credit there.

I'm not going to list every game that is better on one system than the other. But on top of that, XBOX 360 gets a lot of exclusive DLC. It may be timed exclusives, but they shell out the big bucks to get the DLC first for some amazing games like GTA IV and Fallout 3. Again, I'm not going to go into listing every title, but this is a huge plus in the 360 category (not to mention the LIVE service). What I was basically trying to say is that the PS3 is by far the better hardware, but it takes more than that to buy the loyalty of consumers.

Yep, good game to play multiplayer with the kids. I also play NSMB Wii with them too.

Thanks for that final tidbit on the MLB The Show bundle. That's the first game I'll be buying for the PS3 (which I want soon) so I will keep an eye out for that.

As long as there is confirmation of a 2100 model, I'll snag one. 50 extra bucks is stomacheable compared to the 299 I was prepped to shell out for an extra game or two.
 
Just snagged the 250GB Infamous/LBP bundle today. Really happy to get it seeing as I already got a cheap HDMI cable and really wanted Infamous and LBP.. Seems like its just a Fathers Day thing for Gamestop too, but am not sure. A friend said he saw the same bundle at Navy Exchange. Now I just need to grab Modnation Racers and UC2.

You got this at gamestop then? If not where?
 
Its a good bundle for folks that need a PS3 right now. But really I'm going to hold out for a better bundle. Does anyone really need all that space on a PS3? Has anyone filled up a 120 gig drive?

Add in a cheaper HDMI cable and LBP only getting cheaper as time goes on I think I'll be playing the waiting game a bit longer.

I easily have my 60gb full with only about 20 games, not to mention any downloads and music you may put on it. Some games take up to 5GB for saves and mandatory installs. I will get the 250GB slim someday.

Yes I did. Im unsure if my friend is talking about the LBP GOTY/HDMI bundle or this one he put on layaway at the Navy Exchange. He isnt too observant on things like that.

Please don't be fooled about the HDMi cable pack in. "Consumer" versions of the cable are marketed at $25+ a pop, but CAG-approved cables are about $5 shipped from www.monoprice.com

So really, you're probably saving a small amount of money if you do like LBP, but if you don't... yeah.
 
On the side it says CECH - 2001B. So im guessing that its not a 2100? Is that the new model thats suppose to be even quieter and efficient? And the games come in the Greatest Hits cases for each one. It does say Not for Resale on the back of each case.
 
Just went to my local wal-mart and saw a 250g ps3 sitting there. The price tag says $350 and the box says it includes little big planet:GOTY and Uncharted. I think I should spread the word out to this awesome community I just joined :lol:
 
If you're looking to buy this in stores we aren't allowed to put them out till the 16th of June. Then again my coworker accidentally had them on the floor for a day till my boss told him to put them up so you might get lucky. Surprisingly though with the huge shortage of PS3s recently my coworker told me everyone didn't want the 250gb because they were "too expensive".
 
I just Bought a PS3 the other day at best buy (woodland hills CA), does anyone know if i can take it back and get a new one with LBP packed in? I already opened it.
 
i also saw this at the wal-mart here in San Diego, specifically the one on Palomar Ave off the 5 in Chula Vista. If anyone is interested.

Best Buy has a 30 day return policy on hardware, correct? If you bought in the last 30 days you should be able to exchange it for one of these.

Are you referring to a specific retailer? or a specific bundle?
 
Bah. Old Hardware. At least they tried. The only game I don't have in the bundles is MLB. Otherwise I would have doubles of games. Sure I could sell/trade, but wow $5 each.

Also thank you for the confirmation that it is the 2001B model.

sorry, i meant the cables. without the hdmi cables makes it odd. as in the different retail bundles.
