new re4 trailer is incredible!!!!

My thoughts exactly, I tried to get used to the controls for Code Veronica, but I gave up after about 6 hours of frustration. I enjoy some survival horror, but I tend to stick to the Silent Hill series, as their controls can be changed to general 3rd person style.

I agree in reference to the previous RE games. Some of the stuff in the trailer (aiming in particular) makes it look like they have changed the control scheme, well hopefully. I enjoyed RE back in the PS days but hopefully the controls will really be improved. Game looks great, and looks like they have made the gameplay less clunky as well. I guess we will have to wait and see.

They have adjusted the control scheme. Give it some credit it will be good they have been working on it for some time and the controls are totally manageable now. Most the recent previews state they couldnt believe the controlls and how the view change actually made the controls work great.

I deffinitely love the RE series, but the Ps2 controls dont translate well to the game cube (personally i wish they would just get rid of the yellow joystick). But even a bad controller cant stop me from getting this game

The controls will work better now that the game uses a "behind the back" camera angle. I can't wait for this! :D

I don't think I've ever played games with a bad controller. The Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, and Dreamcast controllers are all perfect for gaming, however, if 2D fighting is your thing, the small D-pad on the Gamecube controller will limit you severely. It's a good thing there's only 1 (traditional) 2D fighter available for the Cube. Bad controller? Hardly. I'd expect that sort of comment from bitter fanboys though. Rise above that petty shit.
