So expect prices and demand to drop once people realize the insignificant differences between the two.

In the meantime, I'm curious if anyone has a pic of the new version; are there any markings distinguishing it from the other SA? (Of course, that's so parents don't buy their children the "dirty" version ;))
 
Hmm? I saw copies with the AO rating a month ago at FYE.

I don't think there are any in-game changes. Just the rating on the cover.

This is the new "M" rated version of the game. What confuses me is how this is going to ensure that kids don't get a hold of the "AO" version because there are a ton of used copies out there. How are the stores going to tell the used versions apart. I'm guessing that the barcode might be different between the two versions? A lot of stores keep the used discs in a separate place though and unless the discs have different artwork, they are surely going to get the different versions mixed into different cases.

I'm interested to see just how they are going to distinguish between the two different versions. It probably doesn't matter at this point though, as most people will just assume these new versions will still have "Hot Coffee" in them. There's been so much press about this that even the most uninformed parent would probably at least think twice about picking GTA up for their kid. Or not. What did all this accomplish again?
 
I'm still on the side that parents shouldn't be buying a kid under 14 a game that says "grand theft auto" on it I mean come on use common sense..

I like the fact that the only banned stuff from the game is CONSENTUAL sex between two ADULTS... thats just messed up..

Do you posting maybe a link to the new GTA Game, like maybe a link to the actually game information and then maybe a link to the gamestop or ebgames with a low ass price tag, so i can grab it.

At the story line screen, press: A, B, A, C, A, B, B
 
the new San Andreas has a code in it for 30 lives - at the title menu just enter in Up, Up, Down, Down, Left , Right Left, Right, B, A, ("Select " for 2 players), Start

I saw them on shelves today. They had a fairly inconspicuous "SECOND EDITION" on the bottom center of the front cover.
 
Yea, but what is the second edition? I dont have GTA SA, but i would to pick it up soon at a low low price, say 9.99. But i do wanna know what is the new version about.

There's no difference between the two versions other than them taking out the "Hot Coffee" code.
