it's gona be really hard, if you get one that cheap you won't have enough money for games im assuming, just wait for christmas and pool your money together and get a better deal.

Set aside some time one weekend and go get your worker's permit. Then go out and bus some tables. You'll have your system in no time.

Pretty much this. When I was 15, I got a job working at pizza hut across the street from my high school so I could afford a PS2. I worked there for two years until I graduated, and was able to afford all the games I wanted. I don't regret a thing.

my parents wont let me get a permit till i get straight a's and any way im almost there and im gonna keep searching craigslist

I bought my SNES with money I made caddying. And now I've dated myself.

One thing you have to be mindful of when buying used systems is that if the system has been banned from online, changing ownership doesn't generally change that. Of course, this could work in your favor if you don't mind that and the seller is up front about it. There are a lot of people who wouldn't touch an online-incapable system.

What's your nearest big city?

i know i have been looking for that and i live in the nearest big scity

If you have games around, trade them in somewhere for credit to a new system, or sell a bundle on craigslist. I got my shiny new Sega Genesis around that age by selling my Nintendo and ~20 games. No income, no regrets.

lol but i also like my ps2 but some of the games i could live with out my mom wouldn't let me sell that or my jail broken iphone 3g if i could then i wouldn't be having this problem
