New to PSP. Better battery? Screen protector? Carrying case?

I saw that LocoRoco was out, and well, I bought a used PSP.

Anyways, I'm looking at the projected battery life on the System Menu, and it is saying ~3-4 hours. This is not acceptable. Are there replacement batteries? I think that Sony has a 2200 mAh battery which should help. I just can't find any.

Also, what sort of screen protector should I use? Hori seems to get much love, and where should I get one? I've used Martin Field screen protectors in the past and they work great, but are pricey at $12.99 for one, pre tax and S/H.

Finally, any suggestions for a good case? Something to carry games and cables.

Yeah, I know, what a bother, but I really appreciate any help.

As for games, I've got LocoRoco, and Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins. I'll be getting Exit, and maybe Mega Man Powered Up. What can I say, I'm a sucker for 2D games.

don't forget Vice City Stories, Metal Gear OPs, Killzone Liberation coming out within next few months.ebay has 3000 mAh psp battery that are psp battery size. That should last 12 hours

I did a quick check on eBay, but the batteries seem kind of iffy to me. I don't know if I can trust stuff that gets sent out of Taiwan or Korea.

As for the games, that kind of stuff doesn't interest me, but thanks.

I'd just stick with the regular Sony batteries, if I were you. Get 2-3 of them, and you should be set. I think there are some for sale in the Trading Forum for relatively cheap.

Definitely get the Hori Screen Protector. You can get it from almost any online game site, and several B&M game stores, although I've never seen them at EB or GS. For sites, try estarland.com, or decal girl. Lik-sang too, probably.

i just bought the Portable Liquid Crystal Filter Plus by Hori from play asia $10 and change shipped it covers the screen and the face plate to the left and right of screen, don't buy the plastic face plate covers because it restricts the analog stick and it caused some scratches on my psp
for batteries check out kmart $4 for sony battery, but they might be all gone now; i got the 2200 mAh battery it lasts longer but i got it before i found the kmart deal which i could have gotten 10 regular batteries for the price of the 2200 mAh battery.
