New to the world of micro-SD card - have a question..

CAGiversary!
Im about to purchase my first flash micro sd card and have two questions.

1. what is a good price to pay for these? around $25 for a gb sound good? (if you know of something better please let me know!).. is kingston a pretty reliable brand (they all sound pretty solid).

2. i need to upload files (drag and drop style) to my card from my desktop. i noticed most cards dont come with any adaptor that looks USB compatable? what kind of adaptor do i need in order to get stuff onto the card? what is a good price point for these? should i buy both items in a package together?

1. I believe there are a couple places that will have a 2GB microSD card with SD adapter for $20 on Black Friday. OfficeMax comes to mind off the top of my head. Kingston is probably fine, but I don't have an opinion one way or another.

2. Most cards that I have seen come with an adapter to place the microSD card into a regular SD card. Then you can use it in a card reader or any other device that accepts SD cards. You could probably get a USB card reader pretty cheaply these days, or you might already have one.

Kingston is my favorite brand for MicroSD. Been around forever and they offer lifetime limited warranty, unlike most other brands.

Yeah, Kingston is great for compatibility but only if they're the ones made in Japan. The ones made in Taiwan suck. I have two of their 1GB cards that I used with my R4DS and haven't had any problems with either one.
does anyone know if a 2gb microSD works in a verizon razr v3m??
i don't see why it wouldn't since it has the slot. I doubt 2g would be too big to handle.

theres 4gb and 8g HDsd i think thats what they are called and not every thing can handle them. On subject of kingston. The japanese kingstons are amazing. I have 2gig and a 1gig for min and my g/fs DS and they work great.
