Has anyone been to one of there store, I have, it looks pretty neat.
Play N' Trade looks alot better then Gamestop(Thats for sure) because the cool looking store layout, the change to play games before you buy them, selling Retro video games(Atari, NES, SNES, you know, stuff like that), and of my experince(sp), the cool employees there...
Here some info I know about the store...
Pros: You can play games before you can buy them
Has Old School to Next Gen games and systems
Prices are lower then gamestop(and a little less then retail)
Nice employees working there
They have tournements with cool/AWESOME prizes
Has a disc repair service
Did I mention if you talk with them, and mention a awesome game(Like Chrono Trigger(Note: Story at bottom)) You can get a discount
For tournement entry fees, you can trade in a game to cover the fee
Also, have some cool bundles for systems(example down below)
Sells used DVDs also(but I did not see any at my PnT)
Capcom Vs Capcom 2 PS2 ~$39.82 to Gamestops $69.99
All game prices at set by the store manager, so you can get a rare game for cheap if the store manager and the employees don't know about it.
They will bend over backwards for the customer
THEY ARE NOT GAMESTOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Prices not that lower then retail, like about 20 cents or a couple dollars
By for cheap sell for high - example: I overheard that they bought LoZ:ALotP for about $4 in trade credit and are selling it for about 29.99
They have salesman pitch for the bundles they are trying to sell
Prices might be high for some games because of the store manager sets theprices for each game.
The Retro stuff goes FAST. When that person is trading SNES stuff, someone in the store will try to buy in right then in the store when it gets traded in.
Need to give them a form of ID so they can hold so you can play the games
Have the remodelled version of the NES and SNES, not the orginal version
Playing Guitar Hero 2 when a small LCD TV your using to play it is about 20ft away because the PS2 is located behind the counter - NOT FUN

Story:
I was talking to a store manager with a employee about SNES stuff when he brought up the worst game ever make for the SNES - Shaq-Fu(
), So I said, "You know what game is about a million times better then that Shaq-Fu, Chrono Trigger.
When I said that, the store manager said "You now have my repect because you mention that game."
Later on, I was looking at some Gameboy games, I saw Super Mario Land and it had a 4.99 price on it. So, I when to pay, and the total was 4.21!
Cool, a discount! Or the game was priced wrong, but, hey, still a dollar off the price!
