New Xbox 360 Elites (Not my auction)

I was looking to buy an Xbox 360 Elite...so I checked eBay today and I found a guy selling a ton of them. I checked his feedback and he already sold around 10 and the buyers left positive feedback so I'm pretty sure he's legit. Plus he's been around since 1998. Oh yeah and all of the ones he already sold were under $370!:bouncy: I bid on one and won it for $356. Anyways here's the link to his items for sale. If someone else wins one, or bids on one please post. I wanna know if this was helpful. :D

Sounds really suspicious to me, to be honest. Why would he have that many 360's? Personally, I wouldn't trust it, but best of luck to you.
 
Well, he just emailed me, and apparently he has Amazon.com credit. So he's buying 360s from Amazon and selling them on ebay. I'll found out soon enough I guess lol.

I just received another email from Samsung Rewards that said "Congratulations on receiving an award through the Samsung Rewards program. Your order should ship in 1-2 weeks. For questions regarding this order, please contact [email protected].".

I wasn't aware Samsung had some sort of reward program so I'm not sure how that works.

i got the same email as well i asked if the actual boxes were sealed and he said there coming from amazon NEW. So far looks good i might jump on this.
 
Yeah. One of the ones I was bidding on went for ~$330. :wall:

Oh well still $356 isn't bad for something that costs $450+ in the store. Atleast I didn't get the one from Amazon warehouse deals for $378 used.
 
I can't help but to think these are stolen. The serials could be reported as stolen as well, so becareful.

Same. Either that or he might be using stolen accounts or something on Amazon in order to rake up a bunch of money before making a runner.
 
There was a gamestop near me in FL about a week ago, and about 10 elites were stolen. Not saying those are it, but it does happen.
This guy very well could be legit, but it's just dangerous anymore to trust some people I guess. :/

Seems highly suspect to me that he would have enough amazon credit to purchase 12+ Elites and then sell them on ebay for a loss. Cheapest they've been in the last couple of weeks on Amazon is $400 and none of his closed auctions, even with $30 shipping, come close to this guy turning a profit on any of them. Either he's an idiot or, and my gut says, something stinks. You know the old saying, if something sounds too good to be true, it is.

And that Samsung rewards thing just adds to it.
 
IDK I think he's legit...I'm looking at his feedback and established eBay users have already bought and received their xbox already so I'm not going to worry........yet.


::EDIT:: I sent him an email and he replied " I have points through samsung and the units come from amazon and usually ship within 3-5 days which has been the norm for all my customers so far"

We're not necessarily saying that you won't receive your 360. What we're saying is that you might be receiving it because of stolen funds or something like that.
 
I thought I'd update and let everyone know how it turned out. Well i received it today, although the shipment box was all beat up and opened. The UPS guy said it fell out of the truck lol. But the Xbox box was just fine. Hooked it up and it worked great. And it was indeed from Amazon also so I thought that was good, knowing it was brand new.
