You mean fan boys who will bitch and complain and then toss down their $250 for the revolution anyhow?
Putting out the new Zelda as an exclusive launch title would be the smartest move, if Nintendo will do this or not remains to be seen.
This would be their smartest move? How so? By drastically limiting/reducing the user base that the game would then be available to, and completely betraying millions of Gamecube owners that this game has been promised to time and time again? Your definition of "smart" is skewed, I think.
And regarding how whether they "will do this or not remains to be seen"? Actually, no, according to all evidence, it does not. They've confirmed time and time again that it is a Gamecube title. Revolution-only bonuses seem very likely now, but that's all. End of story.
Come on, people. Nintendo is scrambling to have the game ready by March or thereabouts, at best. The last thing they're going to do is scrap the years that have gone into developing Twilight Princess as a Gamecube game, just so that they can somehow, within the next 8 months (probably considerably less than that), magically recreate the game as a launch title for the Revolution. All so that they can, what? Have it look a bit better, utilize a controller that it was not designed for, and have a smaller base of users to sell the game to? I don't think that's what Nintendo wants.
Even if they wanted to, I seriously doubt that Nintendo could get a "Revolutionalized" (haha, I like that) version of Twilight Princess out the door within the first half of next year. They'd have to draft every employee from every division of the entire company to pull off such a feat in that amount of time.
Plus Nintendo could be working on even another Zelda for the Rev, who knows.
Actually, Nintendo confirmed a Zelda game for Revolution back in may. So, yeah, they're already working on Zelda for Revolution.
